Access is 24/7. There is no closing time and no closed day, so you can pick a trailer up at six in the morning or drop one back at midnight on a Sunday. Arrange the pickup window when you book and the trailer will be inspected, hitched, and waiting.
We operate out of the Pittsburgh airport area, off the Parkway West. There is no retail counter to queue at: we confirm the exact pickup point with you when you book, so you drive straight to the trailer rather than to a front desk.
Add the trailer weight to what you are putting on it and compare that to the tow rating in your owner manual. Most half-ton pickups handle the utility, enclosed cargo, and car hauler trailers comfortably; the loaded equipment, dump, and tilt deck trailers need a three-quarter-ton truck or better. Tell us the year, make, and model when you book and we will confirm the match before you drive out.
A valid driver license in your name, a credit or debit card for payment and the refundable deposit, and a tow vehicle with the correct hitch. Everything else, including the ball mount, light adapter, straps, and spare, comes with the trailer.
The utility and enclosed cargo trailers use a 2 inch ball. The equipment, dump, car hauler, and tilt deck trailers use a 2-5/16 inch ball. If you are not sure what is on your truck, say so when you book and we will have the right ball mount waiting.
Yes for the equipment, dump, car hauler, and tilt deck trailers, which have electric brakes on both axles. The utility and enclosed cargo trailers have brakes on one axle and tow fine without a controller on most vehicles. If your truck does not have one, tell us and we will point you to the right rental.
An equipment trailer loads over two stand-up ramps you set by hand. A tilt deck has no ramps at all: hydraulics drop the whole deck to the ground so the load angle is shallow and continuous. If you are loading a lowered car, a scissor lift, a zero-turn, or anything that would high-centre where a ramp meets a deck, take the tilt deck.
Take the enclosed trailer whenever the load has to stay dry, stay clean, or stay out of sight. It locks, so you can load it the night before and leave it loaded, and it is the right call for a house move, a trade show run, tools, or a motorcycle. An open deck is faster to load from the side and better for anything oversized or filthy.
Your auto policy usually extends liability coverage to a trailer you tow, but physical damage to the trailer itself is often excluded. Call your insurer before pickup and confirm what you carry. You are responsible for the trailer while it is in your possession.
A rental day is a full 24 hours from pickup, not a calendar day, so an 8 AM Saturday pickup is due back by 8 AM Sunday. Because access is 24/7 you are not squeezed into anyone else counter hours. Tell us the pickup and return times you actually need and we will quote that window.
Yes. A refundable deposit is authorized on your card at pickup and released once the trailer is returned on time, undamaged, and swept out. The amount depends on the trailer and is quoted before you sign.
Change or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your pickup time. Inside 24 hours, call us. We would rather move your date than charge you for a trailer you cannot use.
Any location. Our trailers go out on local Pittsburgh jobs, across Pennsylvania, and on long hauls anywhere in the continental United States. Tell us the route when you book so we can talk through mileage, the return time, and which rental period fits the trip.
Delivery and collection can be arranged for any of the trailers. Tell us where the job is when you book and we will quote the round trip by address, whether that is ten minutes down the Parkway or a good deal further out.
Pull over somewhere safe and call the number on your rental agreement. A real person answers the whole time your trailer is out. Do not attempt a roadside repair on brakes, tires, or the coupler.
Swept out, with the ramps, gate, or doors secured, and with the same straps and spare it left with. Dump trailers should be emptied. There is no cleaning charge for normal dirt, only for loads left behind.
